Teachers (who also serve as FBLA advisors) were also recognized with various awards, based on the number of students competing from their schools or having a student in the top three nationally. The schools with the most students competing were: Azania High School, Kisutu Secondary School, and Shaaban Robert Secondary School. High schools with a student winning a Grand Award were: Shaaban Robert Secondary School, Agha Khan Secondary School, Azania High School, and Alpha High School.
Joining the four students on the trip to the United States are Mr. Hamis Kasongo, the Tanzanian FBLA National Advisor and Mrs. Godefrida Gosbert, the Tanzanian FBLA Assistant Advisor National Advisor.
